This complain should originally be about billing, which I thought was shocking until I tried to get hold of their customer care department.
My original complaint was regarding my monthly premium for my capped ADSL which went up by R300 with out my notice or anyone at TELKOM even trying to inform me about this. I was told that they send me a letter but in the approx 10 month that I had my account with them I have not even received a single invoice or letter from them. Due to my current monthly premium going up to the excess of R700pm for a 20gig cap, I send them a letter of complaint. This email has not been replied to since the 28th of August. Following the fact that I didn't even receive a response on my complaint, I send them an official letter of cancellation of the account with them on the 10th of September, but still I don't have any reply.
TELKOM seems quite happy to give you their products, but they are not even interested in you once you have an account. I had enough of this, in today's life your costumer care is your most important part of the business. If you can't even reply to an email, you don't deserve my business and my money.
