In April 2013 I wrote a letter to (at the time) 8ta to request for my contract not to be renewed. I sent the email 1 month before the automatic renewal as per 8ta's instructions, and I sent it to [Email Removed] I received a response saying that my email was received. In June, I received a statement with a charge of R800 for a "Termination fee" for this number. I phoned to query and was told a complaint had been logged. I ended up phoning about 6 more times and was told (more than once) that that complaint hadn't been logged, or that the complaint had been logged for some other reason. I spoke to a manager who promised to keep me updated (Miss Mbali), but I never heard from her again. My references are: 6381091; 6409808; 6409805. At one point I was even told that they had NO RECORD of me ever being charged the R800.
I have still had no contact and don't know what else to do. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company.
