Cannot get contract on BB but can on iPhone 4

My step son who is 20 years old and has been working with the same company since January wanted to open a contract at game. After the initial checks they said he could ge a phone for R400 per month. He chose the BB curve which was R295. They then said he could not have that one but MUST take an iPhone 4. When he said that he did not want an iPhone 4, they then told him he could not have a phone as he had no credit references. This is disgusting trying to off load your junk phones onto someone who is young and inexperienced, shocking.
