I was persuaded to leave Vodacom and join Cell C because of their attractive pricing offers. Biggest mistake I made was substituting quality of service ie Network Coverage for price.

I complained earlier this year and filled in a network feedback template. I was contacted and told it was an iPhone issue, I had already updated the supposed "fix" so that wasn't the issue. I told them this and received no response. Yesterday approx 2 months later I get a call promising me that they are building towers in the affected areas ie Midrand (21 Sept), Sandton (15 Sept) and Randburg (3 Oct).

My issue is that since April I've been paying for a service I have not received. Almost all my calls drop and most of the time I receive an sms saying "missed call". Because of these missed/dropped calls I'm forced to use all my allocated minutes calling people back and I have to be conscious of my usage all the time. My data coverage is just as shocking.

I strongly feel Cell C should make a provision to reimburse me until they sort out the issues as they are happy to debit my account knowing very well and even admitting they have a problem with the network coverage.
