Horrible Network Coverage

Absolutely horrible network coverage. IF ANYONE IS THINKING OF JOINING CELL C - DO NOT!!! I have made the mistake of moving from Vodacom to Cell C due to the better rates, however, I will much rather pay a bit extra and be guaranteed an actual network coverage. I live and work in Sandton (Gauteng) and from time to time also in Alberton (Gauteng) - in none of these areas is it possible to make a decent phone call or connect to the internet, which is shocking seeing as Sandton CBD should be one of the main places covered. Cell C then has the audacity to claim that they cover 97% of SA's population in network coverage - absolute, blatant - unless this 97% is somewhere in the Kalahari. I have heard these complaints over and over again from different people who have all made the mistake of joining Cell C. To rub salt in the wound, my new phone's battery won't even last a day as it continuously searches for network coverage.

This is completely unacceptable, and my complaints have not helped. So I'm posting this as a warning, hoping that no more people fall into the same trap as me!
