Cancelation takes 2 months not one month

I want to switch over to afrihost 10b line because it is much cheaper than web africa 10 mb line. I did already pay for September 2013, I did inform web africa that I want to cancel my month to month basis with them because they couldn't match the deal with Web Africa. One of your agents informed me that they have received my cancellation request but it will only be effective from end of October, now that is 2 months. Your website states that you are contracted on a month to month basis, this is Incorrect. I'm now bind for 2 months before I can cancel. Also I did inform you on the 3 of September 2013, please tell me what is one month from the 3rd of September? So beware it is not month to month basis
