We have signed-up a total 3 cell phone contracts, 1 data and a prepaid contract with Cell C. Every contract has been experiencing daily connectivity problems for periods of up to 8 hours at a time with Cell C! One contract taken out in January 2013 has for 3 weeks out of every 4 been denied the use of her Blackberry service and SMS capability. My wife needs to be in constant touch with our kids for after school pick-ups and the use of sms's makes a mockery of the cellphone use as SMS's come through the following day! What a waste! We have a 12 month data contract and even after making sure that our area in Meadowridge is 3G enabled- we only have 2G connectivity almost all of the time. Continually Informing both the Cavendish & Blue Route Malls of these problems have been a waste of time & clearly a weekly comedy of errors! We would like to end all of our contracts due to no connectivity!! Why should we as consumers be held ransom to a service that does not even exist? Are their any penalties for this! Why should we continually bear the brunt of this! They should be ashamed to call themselves a service provider- we have regretted migrating over to Cell C! They do not care!!
