Non delivery of samsung 3D TV

My nightmare with MTN continues. Exactly 7 days ago i reported on hellopeter that for 3 monts i had been waiting for the Samsung 3D that was supposed to come with the 2GB MTN data contract i signed.

a few hours later, a very polite lady from MTN called me to ask if i had received the TV. She apologised and said 3 months was rather a long time to wait and promised to follow up. Needless to say i have not heard from MTN since then.

Since i had been told by Brightpoint (MTN's courier) that the said TV (Samsung UA40es6200) was out of stock i decided to phone Samsung themselves (the reason being that i had established independently that this TV was no longer being manufactured). Samsung confirmed this (i have their ref no:).

Now i wonder why MTN doesnt simply send me the replacement TV, which is the Samsung UA40f6400. Just so that MTN (or Brightpoint) knows be4 they deliver anything (when they eventually decide to do so), they must just know that i will not settle for anything lesser than the TV agreed on!

By the way the lady who called me had the tenacity to ask if i would like to renew the contract for my 3 other voice lines. How can i? Deliver the TV 1st & then we will look at upgrade!
