False Advertising

Cell C claims to have 3G coverage throughout the Western Cape according to their coverage map, they claim to have a superior network, they claim to put the power in your hands...

All of this is utter BS.

I have between 50-80% dropped calls per day
It often takes more than 30s to simply connect a call.
I get loads of voicemails a day from people who cant reach me.

This all happens in the Southern Suburbs, Woodstock and Cape Town - All in the "covered" areas according to cell c's website.

I called the call centre and they suggested that I force my phone to roam on the Vodacom network, result - no dropped calls, great 2G coverage but no 3G... I have an iPhone 5 which is now "just a phone"

I am taking this to the consumer watchdog and ASA and I want my money back, I want my contract cancelled - I want OUT!!

The marketing department of this company need to have a long chat to their technical department so that they can offer a more realistic product.

And I am not alone apparently - 100 new complaints on Hello Peter per day - this rat is jumping off the sinking ship that is Cell C.
