Cell C
Being billed for an account closed 3 years ago!!!

We have just received correspondence from attorneys claiming that we owe Cell C R860.57. We could not figure out what for, until we realized that my wife once had an account 3-4 years ago which she had canceled. Canceling the contract was a nightmare in itself as we could not do it in store, and were told to send a FAX (who still uses faxes for important communication like this) to the head office to have this contract canceled. The first fax was never received, and we had to send it again, after which the contract was canceled.

Now somehow we get a threatening letter from attorneys that they will attach our property! We had never received any communication or notice from Cell C where they think we owe them money. This is poor, and exactly the reason we left Cell C in the first place.
