MTN UPGRADE NIGHTMARE 2013

I have been with MTN for over 17years now and I am shocked that I have been treated so badly with my recent upgrade. I upgraded on the 18th July from a blackberry torch 9800 - anytime 200 contract, to a Samsung s3 mini - anytime 350 contract. On the 3rd day I discovered that the phone didn't have 8GB but only had 4, 5GB available and that the led light on the S3 mini does not work even though I followed the instructions that MTN gave me, which was to download an app to get it to work. I discovered that there isn't even a LED on the device. On (Monday) the 4th day of having the new phone I went to MTN to discuss my findings. They insisted that the app's and software were the reason for only having 4, 5GB available. I didn't agree and I insisted on MTN phoning Samsung directly. Samsung explained to both MTN and myself that the 3, 5gb was used by the OS. Samsung gave me a ref no. and told me if I was unhappy with my purchase that I must sort it out with MTN. So I asked to change/cancel my upgrade but MTN refused. Two days ago was the final straw -a bill for over R800. Apparently it was for data usage but I use Wi-Fi 95% of the time and I just upgraded my package. What a nightmare!!!
