Telkom Walmer park does not want new business

Hi,

I have been to the Telkom direct store in Walmer park twice over the last 3 weeks. I want to take out the advertised iPad contract (16gig iPad with 5 gigs of data). The lady at the shop said that they are out of stock but that she would call me back once she finds stock. She called me back once to say that she is still looking.

It is now 3 weeks later and I have been in to the store twice since then. Every time I get the same excuse... that there is no stock.

I cannot contact the store because every number listed on the telkom mobile website for PE is not correct. This is very frustrating. I eventually contacted the call centre using the chat tool. The person that I spoke to did not even attempt to help. He just said that I must go to the store again and that there is nothing he can do for me.

Why spend a fortune on radio advertising if you do not have the capacity to service new clients? I have never battled to buy something this much in my life.

Telkom clearly does not want my business. Entering into a 24 month contract with a company that cannot even respond to a potential sale is a very bad idea.
