Vodacom
Billed for changing my debit order date

Telecommunications

Why does it when you change your debit order date from the 1st of a month to the 7th do they take your instalment off twice? The response I receive: Because you did it online!
This is total as half of the country does not want to deal with the call centre you would rather want to do things online! If I knew this was the case for doing it online without notice of double debit orders I would have taken a different route.
Why is it for a difference of 6 days, do you have to pay a double instalment? What is the reasoning behind it and where does the extra instalment go to? I mean I did the online request way before the initial debit date!

This will mean now that I have to pay a 25 month contract and not a 24 month contract as signed!!
Where does the consumer act come in??
