Monumentally Bad Service from Altech Autopage

6 weeks ago I handed in a damaged cell phone at the Blue Route Mall shop. I requested that the phone be repaired/ replaced on the basis of an insurance claim. What ensued was a comedy of ineffeciency. I was notifed 10 days later that the phone had been handed in. I called customer service suspicious that a disaster was afoot. This was ultimately a waste of time!!! Repeated phone calls and promises of escalation, nobody knows whats going. After repeated phone calls requesting an update an insurance form is sent to me. I duly complete the form (again, first time at shop) and return. Again deafening silence. Finally a notification from the repair department for me to authorise a R2000 repair. Huh? Repeated calls to customer "service"..to find out why the repair department are apparently not aware of the insurance angle..no answer... get through... only one person can give feedback, sorry she's busy, will call you back later etc etc... nothing happens! I have never yet been so completely disrespected as a paying customer by any organisation or exposed to such abject incompetence. Did I mention that this has been going on for 6 WEEKS!!
