2 months and my line is still not switch on

We signed our contract with Telkom on the 3rd of June 2013, to my horror we received an SMS the following day advising us that our line will only be switched on on the 26th of July 2013, today is the 30th of July and we have had not even a phone call, not even an sms, not even an apology from Telkom. When we went to the Telkom sotre at Century City, we were told they are doing work in Century City and this is causing delays (not even a real or understandable excuse). We desperately need this line to enable out ADSL for work and study purposes and have been struggling without an internet connection, getting behind in studies and work. I am disgusted at the service received from Telkom.
