LACK OF PROVIDING THEIR CORE SERVICE

My job requires me to hv a cellphone contract as they pay me cellphone allowance. Got a new contract with Cell C & ported my Voda number on 18/07/2013. Since then my clients have reported me to management saying I am suddenly never available. My phone hardly has network & I work only aroung JHb. Icalled Cell C today to advise that I would like to return the phone as 'buyers remorse'. They advised that it's not possible as i have opened the phone (ofcause its open bcoz its opeend in the store) or unless I pay full contract amount. They offered to bring a technician out which does not make sense as they explained that it had nothing to do with the phone. I strongly feel that it's not right as they have failed to provide me with he core service that I 'bought'. I am now jeopardizing my job as my role as an Acc manager required me to be available to our clients at all time.
