Phone on 3 June 2013 to move a data contract to pre-paid data. Advised to phone on 18 July 2013. Cannot phone that day but phone today 23 July. Well MTN says sorry for you - the invoice was generated on 20 July and you will lose your 2 GB data when the contract is transferred. They know full well you phoned on 3 June to transfer the contract but then cannot remember to do that themselves. Onus is on me to phone that specific day else it's bad luck for you.

This is just a rip off. Transfer my account to pre-paid with my 2 GB or credit the invoice that you created on 20 July. None of the data was used. I was given a reference number 102340789

I also want re-assurance that I will not lose my 141 loyalty points and that it will be transferred to the prepaid "contract".
