UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT OF R1700!!!

I would like to express my frustration and anger towards the terrible service received from 8ta. I cancelled my contract for June already and yet I was still debited for R1700 now in July! I even went into the 8ta store in Rosebank in the beginning of June to confirm that my contract was cancelled as per my initial request in May and I was told yes. The system also showed that my number was CANCELLED and I was assured that it was cancelled. How is it now that after all this time 8ta has still debited my account when I don't even have that sim card anymore?! The customer service or should I say the lack of customer service is appalling! The fact that nobody within the company knows what's going on, just goes to show what a disorganized and third rate company 8ta is. There's a reason people choose to stay with networks such as Vodacom because this would've never happened! The fact that the staff at the Rosebank store have no sense of urgency also says a lot. This is the worst service I have received by far. When we called to find out why this has happened, the 8ta employee said he doesn't know what to do now. How do you tell a customer that? Spoke to the manager but very doubtful.
