I bought sony water proof bt still gt wate damege

I bought sony xpreia z at mtn and the told me is water resistence, after a month having it it went into a water and stop work, i took it back to mtn 2 and the sent it in 2 repair.it took a month and and i ask them way my phone is tsking long the say it been sent 2 sony, when it came they say it is having water inside, i told them it was supposed 2 be water resistence.now they tell me the is nothing the can do, i must talk 2 sony but i had deal with mtn not sony, i pay mtn every month but i still have no phone.
