Two weeks ago my daugther took her Blackberry 9900 for repairs. The problem was resolved.
My daughter then discovered that her BBM pin was changed and did not reflect the same BBM pin as per the pin on the BB box. We took it back to Westgate in Roodepoort on 11 July and stood there for 2hrs trying to sort out the problem. The agents were unable to assist and logged a call with the call centre who advised that they would log a call with the IT department and that we would receive a response within 24hrs (which should have been Friday). To date we have not heard from Vodacom regarding the problem and I would think that their turn around time varies between 24hrs to never calling a customer back.

I would like to know how does one's phone go in for repairs and comes back with different features. How is it possible that a new BBM pin gets randomly selected.

The service I received is unacceptable especially when I pay my account each month and have been a loyal customer of Vodacom for a number years.
