CANT RECEIVE CALLS FOR OVER A MONTH

I Got a contract from mtn and did a sim swap to my previous 8ta number, it worked out fine with mtn and the number changed and i was able to make calls via the number and send messages, the real problem is that nobody except MTN numbers can make calls to me and send me messages. Its been over a month since i last approached 8ta about the issue, i went to both retail stores and they both acknowledged my issue and agreed that it is not the first time they have had the issue. I was able to repot the case with 8ta and they said i should wait and the matter will be resolved, its been over a month and im still unable to receive calls or messages. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! I cannot receive messages or calls and it is affecting my job.
