We applied for a data package with an IPAD and a laptop and received the items in May 2013. The lines were activated on 17/05/13. On the 17/05/13 a debit order for the sum of R1105.37 was submitted for payment. I contacted the customer care line and held on for almost an hour before anyone could help. I was then emailed the statements and musch to my suprise we were charged for May and June. Arrangements were made for the amount to be settled at the end of the month andthe funds paid in cash on 05/07/13. However in the iterim, the lines were alwys being blocked despite being unblocked by Jason at 1Two1 Autpage in hyde Park. I have no problem paying for a service that i have used but now I am being asked to settle the acocunt for June which runs from the 17/06/13 to the 17/07/13. This account is not even due. My problem with this is that my husband is writing exams and is using this IPAD to study (this is the reason he took the contract) which is blocked again. This is adding to his stress levels and mine as we cannot reach a resolution with Altech as they drop the phone whenever you ask to hard a question. How are we supposed to carry on this is frustrating.
