MTN: No Clue on HTC ONE: and no clue

Spoken to MTN corporate over the last 3 months on the availability of the HTC One
only to be told every time that they were getting stock at the end of the month
end may
end june
now end july
nobody can confirm anything it seems

vodacom have had this phone since launch

i have now rung HTC SA and been told today only Vodacom took up this phone even though it was offered to all carriers
so why the and stringing me along for 3 months??

please advise as i have moved over from the UK and never have i been told utter rubbish as MTN have fed me.
