Vodacom
3 weeks waiting period for ipad mini

I've initiated a contract for an ipad mini at the Vodacom store in Hartbeespoort on Saturday 20 June 2013. Upon the approval of the contract I was told it would take a week for the stock to be delivered as they did not have any on hand.

I phoned them today on the 20th of June to confirm when it will be there. The lady told me sorry we should have told you we don't have stocl in the warehouse it will take two to three weeks. Nobody contacted me when they becom aware of this issue. I had to phone them to find this out.

Upon phone the call centre I was told to phone the sales centre. The lady there told me she could not assist me because her system was down. I would expected to hear that she would phone me back during the day.

I cannot understand why I was not informed of the stock not being on hand before initiating the contract or afterwards when the realised that won't be able to get stock.

I'm asstonished by the fact that no Vodacom branch in the Jhb and Pta branch does not have stock to supply the Hartbeespoort branch with.
