Repair technicians don't listen!

I handed my Blackberry 9320 in at Game Menlyn for repairs on Sunday the 23rd of June. I received it back today (5th of July) still faulty. I didn't wait two weeks for a software update. When handing the phone in at Game Menlyn I wrote an extra letter stating what was wrong with the phone telling the technician/s that the phone is constantly restarting/freezing and that even after software upgrades/downgrades the problem persists and that they must PLEASE check the hardware. I have even tried reloading the operating system all to no avail. The technicians report states that there is a problem with the power key and that it wouldn't switch on. It never had any problems with the power key and it is STILL constantly restarting. So now I'm of the opinion I've wasted two weeks waiting for a software upgrade (downgrade actually) Why do the technicians think a software upgrade is the quick fix to every problem? They just don't listen! The quality control check was done by Lindiwe and I am referring to the Midrand repair centre.
