I attempted to take out a new contract with cell c on the 28/06/13 and spoke to staff member named Raees. As I had phoned the store the day before and asked that they keep the handset that I wanted aside I anticipated no problems. Unfortunately this was not to be. I was told by Raees that there was no phone set aside for me, and that the phone was sold out, to which I told him was inexcusable. He then went into the back room, and suddenly found a handset. As we were completing the paperwork, he told me that my number would port to cellc by 30/06/13 which didn't happen. On 01/07/13 I phoned the call center, who told me that they hadn't received a port request, and that I should take it up the matter with the store. When I phoned the store to do so, Raees rudely referred to me as a "performing customer", blatantly to me as to the reason why my number had been not been ported, told me he didn't like my attitude and then hung up on me. When I called the store back (immediately) I demanded to speak to a manager, only then did someone attempt to properly explain the problem to me, and offer a solution. I am truly disgusted by the behavior displayed!
