I have been with Cell C for 7 years now. I used to have a contract phone with them, but after I received the most disgusting service, I cancelled my contract and moved to Vodcom. However, I still had 3 data sticks with them, which I paid every month. My 3 data sticks are up for renewal in August, which I was going to cancel instead of renewing. But I changed my mind when I saw some of the contract deals they were offering. I phoned the call centre to request an upgrade on one of my lines. The other two, i was going to cancel. The consultant told me yesterday that they had to do a credit check on me first - and I should call again in the morning. I phoned this morning - only to be told that I cannot have an upgrade as I'm in legal??? I asked why as I have paid every month and my account is up-to-date. The consultant told me that 'she doesn't know' - but will transfer me to legal department. Now, NO-ONE answers the phone at the legal department. I called 5 times, and each time I am on hold for 15 minutes!!! For the love of, can some-one tell me what is wrong with my account?!!! I'm so tempted to pay up all my contracts now and leave for good!! RUBBISH SERVICES!!!
