Lack of assistance when doing an upgrade!

On Friday I did an upgrade for my one line - no problem - smooth sailing! For 2 days now I have been trying to do an upgrade on my other cellphone line and they keep telling me that I now need to have a credit check done as it has expired? Since when do credit checks expire? After 40 minutes at my expense and promises to get back to me since yesterday I get passed from department to department and finally landed up in the legal division of all places and when I asked in laymens terms what it means when a credit check has expired meant she put the phone down on me! I cannot believe the disgusting service and lack of interest thereof. I am very tempted to just cancel that contract in December and go to another network provider as Cell C dont care! After 15 years of being with Cell C I should know by now!
