Telkom Orders mess up and I have to wait?

I cancelled my Neotel line on the 21st December 2012, and ordered a new Telkom line. The Telkom agent asked for all my details and then ended up processing my order under my brothers details since we stay at the same address. On the 3rd Jan 2013 I called in to transfer the order onto my name as was initially requested, but had to cancel the order and reapply under my name. I have asked for my old number to be transferred from Neotel (0216335090) which was initially allocated to us by Telkom 4 years ago.

The latest feedback I have received from Telkom is that "technical feasability is being investigated" which was on Monday 14th Jan 2013.

I am highly irritated and frustrated with the poor levels of communication and service by the Telco's. I would like someone to explain what the issue with my order is.
