Went to upgrade 2 contracts at Clearwater MTN. Spoke to Khanyi. I asked whether there were stock of the phone Samsung SIII and the TAB and was assured that there was. Only after we started the upgrade, she found out that there was no stock. She explained that stock will be delivered by Thursday. We proceeded to upgrade another account. Later during the day, I realized that the incorrect account was upgraded. I tried to contact the store but there was no answer. Went back to the store on Friday. Khanyi said she cannot fix the problem Friday as her manager was not in the store. She will give me a call once it is fixed. As to the stock that was supposed to be there, she had no answer as they did not receive stock as yet. No phonecall to inform me about this. Friday afternoon she called me to say that they have fixed the problem and that my bis will be functional in 3 hours. It only started working after 5.
I contacted another store and went to process the upgrade on Saturday. The staff contacted the MTN Head Office and was told due to migration that the contract can only be upgraded on Monday which is the billing date. Today was told 3 days and after phoning again, only upgraded after 7 days.
