Two months ago I decided to buy the 8ta 60gig 60gig promo. I was so happy with the performance so far that when I got my iphone on the 15th, I decided to switch SP to 8ta and use the 2gig promo monthly. I wanted to port my number though and was told that the sim need to be active until I can request porting. Long story short, on Sunday the 16th at about 11 I visited the above mentioned store. First the lady told me to phone Vodacom and request the number to be released. I phoned Vodacom and were told that a request must first be sent by 8ta. I went back to the store and actually got SHOUTED AT BY THIS LADY!!! It is not the difficulty or inability to help me that leaves me furious, but the manner I were treated. I got agitated and she actually told me: "Fine, give me your documents, but don't come crying if it doesn't work! I actually just wanted her to speak to Vodacom directly as I was being sent backwards and forwards. I am very disappointed 8ta! Your staff should NEVER treat any customer like this.
