I really do not have a problem with Vodacom, but I was really discusted with the service and incompetence of all the personell at the Vodacom Chatz store in Phalaborwa. Firstly there are 3 staff members (2 females and 1 male). I visited the store on a Friday only to be told by the white female that not she or the black female at the store at that moment are allowed to port my number to vodacom and that I have to come back on Monday. This allready made me question the competance of the staff nevermind the rudness of the white lady swearing in front of the customers. Came back on Monday morning to do everything, again I am told that the male staff is the only person capable of doing it and he will only be coming in at around 12H00. Went back later that afternoon to try and port my number costing me R100, now I am told to come back on Tuesday when they will finalise the process. Go back on Tuesday complete the process, wait a couple of hours, nothing has happened. After this I phoned customer care (someone who is competent), they tell me that the store has done it wrong and selected a porting date for December. Now I need to cancell the port process buy new sim and start all over.
