Cancellation of contract and lack of assistance

I did an upgrade on the 8th of June. The phone i wanted was not in stock so i had to go to another branch to collect. When i got there the phone was just given to me without the offer of testing the phone or even to do a sim swap as i needed a micro sim to work in the phone. I tested it and i'm not very happy so i would like to cancel my contract. I was told to contact Vodacom's cancellations which i did (on the 11th June) and they advised that i should go to the store and the cancellation would be done as there is a 7 - 14 day cooling off period. When i got the store i was told to call cancellations and when i complained about being sent back and forth the store manager was called. After explaining to him i was told that he would see what could be done and he would give feedback. I had to be the one to call on a daily basis to get updates as promises to get feedback was not kept. I am really not happy about the unprofessional behaviour and that gives me more reason to cancel with Vodacom.
