Feels like

Telecommunications

I have been a loyal MTN & Altech Autopage customer for many years & have had to convert my number to a prepaid number due to the fact that we will be living in another country for the next two years. I have been trying to use the contact airtime but as I have been away I have not been able to do so & have now been told that as soon as I am converted to prepaid this "money" will just fall away. I have paid for it so feel like it belongs to me. I was hoping to be able to transfer it to my husband via the me2u facility but this apparently wont work either & what I have transferred to him will be billed extra. So not only will the R1500 I had a week ago plus the R120 I cashed in from MTN loyalty points just fall away but I will have to pay an additional R400 for airtime I thought I had transferred from my account. I honestly feel like this is a classic case of & if I will leave with a very sour taste of SA telecommunications. The customer should not feel like they are being from, we pay the highest prices worldwide already and should only get what is due to us. Altech Autopage & MTN this has not been your smartest move...
