Hi,
I took 2 contracts with Nashua Mobile on the 23rd of May for a new Samsung S4 and a Samsung tablet with data. The Nashua rep who visited my company and he advised me in writing that C Cell had coverage at my residence. Upon recieving the devices it became clear that there was no signal at my house. The concern was for the data package since I cannot work from home. I immediately inform the sales consultant on the 24th of May. Nothing was done. I repeatedly follow up with him over the next couple of days and nothing. I then tell Nashua mobile that I want to terminate the contract due to a lack of service and signal, they respond back telling me that I will be liable for cancelation fees since the CPA does not apply here! I reported this to C Cell and Nashua mobile immediately when I discovered that there was no signal. It seems the sales consultant intended to do nothing in order to tie me into the contract. It is now week 2 and its is only today that a C Cell technician was sent, who struggled to make a call in my house. How can I be liable to pay cancelation fee if the signal is not there. The sales consultant advised me that there was a signal.
This is ridiculous.
