I am frustrated beyond speech and want to pull my hair out.
My TELKOM capped 2MB contract expired after 2 years on Thursday, 17 January 2013.
I called to change to an Uncapped Advange 2MB account -
The account was changed - but the line speed dropped from over 200Kbps to between 90 and 110 Kbps.
I logged a fault through DSL and on Friday i get an sms to say the line was repaired - I called the DSL support - they said their side was fine, I needed to check with accounting - I go through to accounting, they say the line is showing 1MB, i needed to go through to account activation - giving me a ref no - account activation says the account was captured as an uncapped basic 2MB line - and they say i must wait 30 days - after which they can change me to a uncapped advanged account - after telling them i was not happy, as it was a Telkom mistake, they changed it - BUT still no change - I go back to DSL support - who says yes you are now on an uncapped advange account - BUT now only 1MB - i give up - been going backwards and forwards and now i am starting all over - FRUSTRATED as. And no nearer to a solution.
