Since obtaining a new ADSL Modem from Telkom some months ago I have had basically no internet speed, for ex. this morning I opened the [URL Removed] website to get the helpline number and it took exactly 8 minutes to open the Telkom web page.

This morning I phoned the Telkom helpdesk and waited in a queue for 45 minutes before putting the phone down. I really cannot wait this long without any inidication that I will get help. I then drove to a Telkom store who telephonically put me in touch with the helpdesk which in the Telkom shop took less than a minute. The helpdesk told me she would reset the line and I had to restart my modem and tell her once I had done this, which of course was not possible from within the Telkom store. Back at home I rebooted the modem without any improvement in speed line (it took just under 4 minutes to open the hello peter website). I am not willing to try for another 45 minutes to get the helpdesk.

Q1 Why does it take less than 1 minute from within a Telkomstore to get telephonic support but more thant 45 minutes from home?
Q2 Will Telkom give me support or should I change provider?
