It seems that Vodacom is bent on chasing all its Clients to other service providers, it seems all the other service providers have more attractive deals and from what I experienced, better service as well. I have two cell numbers on my contract, one for my daughters use. The contract on my daughters number has expired and so did most of the services linked to the contract without so much as a warning SMS! So all social connections have been terminated from Vodacoms' side, my daughter has her eye on the Samsung S3 Mini, we went into the Tygervalley 3G branch to try and do an upgrade on Sat 8th June to find out that Vodacom could not come close to competing with contracts offered by other service providers. I then said I wanted to cancel the contract on that number. The adviser said that if I wanted to migrate the number to another service provider I should transfer the number to a prepaid contract, he then helped me fill in the necessary forms and advised that it would be done within 24hrs. I called Vadacom to enquire on progress this evening to be advised that nothing had been done and could only be done by giving 30 days notice!!! Do all staff do the same training???
