Cancelled contract still being charged on it

My contract with telkom-8ta expired in February 2013, and so one of their consultants contacted me to inquire whether I would like to continue with my cellphone contract with them or not, and I vividly stated to this chap that i don't want it anymore, so they can cancel it. To my surprise at the end of the month I still received a deduction on this, i then assumed that it was a cancellation fee. And due to the work i do which causes me to travel abroad I could not go in to their stores in Cape Town to inquire about this until mid May when I was back on SA, and I was told to come back with my ID and it would be canceled immediately, and still it was not. On Friday I went in to that same store to inquire about this and was given some mumbled answer about why it was not canceled due to their system not capturing this. I then escalated my inquire to their management and was told by that consultant that their manager is busy and will call me back or email me. TUntil this day i have not heard anything from them.
