I went to promenade cell c to have my nokia lumia 820 factory reset. They firstly did not undertstand why I wanted to hard reset the phone.
After me explaining myself 3 times to 3 reps the young gentleman (tall, brown skinned guy with hair combed backwards)
He attempted to reset the phone. He was unsuccessful, I then advised him that if the device is unsuccesfull to hard reset then there is a manurefacturing fault.
HE THEN ARGUED WITH ME (RAISING HIS VOICE) TELLING ME THAT THE PHONE IS NOT ABLE TO HARD RESET UNLESS YOU PRE-SET THE SETTINGS ON YOUR HANDSET PRIOR TO THE HARD RESET.
He then advised me to take the phone to nokia in century city to have it reset. I told the rep that it does not make sense that the phone can't be hard reset. But I apologised for arguing with him and I took he's advise as he offered to show me a video to prove his case.
I just found out that the rep was wrong and gave me wrong info, the phone can be hard reset. I just did it. Its hold in volume up, insert charger, volume up, down, power, down. All I want is an apology from rep or manager for such bad service and inconvenience.
