Never Upgrade with Vodacom, this is what happens

Upgraded on number 0844204942 from Talk 500s to Red VIP.Only started using the phone and setup last week Tuesday the 28/06/2013 - delivery was not on the 22/05/2013 as stated by Vodacom. Problems started on the 31/05/2013, Phone would cut and say no service, phone would have to be restarted to get service, then would drop again causing another restart to be done. Called and advised on Friday the 31/05/2013 - no resolution. Changed all settings over next three days to Monday, still no solution. Unable to log a problem on the 01/06/2013 and 02/06/2013 as business department does not operate on weekend. Logged problem again on 03/06/2013 with business, was told to go to Vodacare centre. Went to Vodacare Centre in Nelson Mandela Square, Maria refused to test SIM card to see if that was the problem, stated they can only check settings, said I must book phone in for repair. I stated this phone is under 7 days old, I want a replacement not a repaired phone. Maria refused to log out of box fault, I called Business while at the store, they stated she has to log the fault. Fault was not logged as no chargers with me. Vodacom states it is now out of warranty and must be repaired. I want a new phone
