Vodacom Does not let you cancel data contract

In March I notified Vodacom of my intention to cancelled my data contract at the end of its term. My monthly 2Gig contract worked out around R160 per month. They decided unilaterally to put me on prepaid data and did not cancel as per my instruction. They debited my account on 28th May for R4484.03. This non authorisation of debit orders needs to stop. It is illegal and Vodacom cannot just do this. I think John Robbie should investigate. I noticed Vodacom yesterday and lodged a data dispute. They said 14 working days before they get back to me. They are quick to take money. Slow to give it back when they you.
