Uncapped package warning to potential Mweb clients

For those considering going for MWeb's uncapped products, be warned:

1. Your usage is calculated over a rolling 30 day period where if you exceed a threshold you will be throttled. This threshold parameter is not published and is not provided when requested of MWeb. Your throttle will be activated without warning, so you are not given the chance to adjust your usage to stay within these parameters.
2. The throttling is not just throttling, but effectively rendering the service to dial-up levels (i.e. practically useless). My speed tests indicate that I am being restricted to 5% of the original bandwidth.
3. Once throttled, you will be given vague responses as to when the throttle will be lifted. I have been told throttling will remain until my 'rolling average' has moved back to acceptable levels, but I am not told what these levels are and how long this will take (3 weeks is an estimate that has been given to me).

I am in a situation now where I am locked into a service where I am only receiving 5% of what I am paying for.
My advise, DO NOT go for this service. Find a provider that supplies a proper uncapped service.
