I had 2 telkom lines installed for business at my house in January. Two day, s after installation the lines stopped working, which I reported. Telkom then sent a technician to fix it but he could not find the problem, and promised to return. They never returned, so I used the s.m.s. service to report it again. The short version is that after months of no service telkom expects me to pay the line rental for every month and now they want me to pay a contract cancellation fee per line when they are the ones who are breaching the contract.
I would like someone in a senior position to contact me directly to explain to me how this is legal and fair, but all I get is call centre agents and accounts clerks with no decision making authoroty. I will not pay anything until telkom contacts me directly to resolve this problem that they created and we can come to a consenses.
