I received a bill for /- R2800 because of data roaming charges, I was told my limit of R1500 is not valid when using data roaming charges. I lodged this complaint on 28th May, I was informed it had been escalated and somebody would contact me back, 29th at 18:00 I received a call from Alfred Tshesane who was EXTREMELY arrogant. I disputed this amount based on my limit, he said limits are not real time when using data roaming, I requested proof of my contract to be sent to me where it stipulates this, and I would not be able to pay this. I requested to speak to his supervisor who he said will only be able to contact me tomorrow (30th May), and that would I be able to pay half this month. I insisted to not do ANYTHING to the line until I had spoken to his supervisor and got proof that I am liable for anything over the limit amount. At /- 17:00 on the 30th I realised my phone was soft locked, I contacted the call centre to query it, I was told Alfred had made a note that "client cannot pay the amount and supervisor has instructed to soft lock the phone". I am still "waiting" for the supervisors call! I would like a call to resolve, and have Alfred/supervisor made accountable.
