Cell C
Nice rates but forget about customer service

Cell C are very good with trying to get new customers with good rates and offers but forget about any satisfactory customer service once your roped in.

My phone's screen cracked and I took it for a repair and they promised me it would take 7 - 21 days to complete. After I week I phoned to find out the status only to discover that it hadn't even been dispatched to the repair centre so I asked that they keep my phone to one side so I could collect and take it to someone else who had a 2 day turnaround. But I wasted my petrol and parking money going to collect the phone as it was sent through after my call.

A few days later I finally get a message from Cell C with the price for repair and after I called and accepted the quote I was promised 7 - 10 working days until I received my phone. Well on working day 8 I called and had to listen to their hold music for 3 HOURS before someone answered and I was informed that they were waiting for parts.

They know nothing of valuing their customers and keeping in contact with them in respect of any hiccup or hurdle which might affect their promises.
