I went to do a trade in top up contract, reading up on the terms and conditions inside the pamphlet I discovered that I am elligible to qualify for this type of deal. (My phone switched on, screen was not cracked, all covers were there and the battery was inside the phone (Blackberry 8520)). Upon presenting the phone to the female sales rep. she told me I do not qualify for the deal as my phone had a few scrathes on the cover. I then told her under Vodacom's advertising in the pamphlet is says nothing about scratches. She then told me she will not do the deal she will have to show her manager. I said thats okay, as then I could hear first hand from the manager as to what the problem was. She then notified me that there is no manager in today and i should come back tomorrow (21 May 2013). I said to her that I would like to talk to a manager and she said, there is nobody available for me today and i must come back tomorrow. I honestly couldnt believe my ears that there was no manager in for the whole day and nobody was appointed in charge who could make reasonable decisions. As a franchise store representing such a big name brand in South Africa I find this totally unacceptable.
