I had been waiting for several weeks on stock od iPhone 5 on one of Cell C's promotions. There had been some hic ups but I was still committed. Then I'm told at 13h30 on a Sunday I had to come in and sign as the "deal" was closing that day. This was to short notice so I went in on the Monday. The assistant Sean was of great help. I checked what information he needed and the point that I would be using my credit card for my monthly contractual payments. The credit card I have is a Titanium MasterCard issued by Standard Bank which I have used in the same way with other cell phone providers.

I went in with all the documentation that I was advised was needed for RICA etc. on Friday 17th May. I checked all the details handed over ID document and proof of residence and my Titanium MasterCard. The assistant came back and advised the credit card was not acceptable and that they required 3 months bank statements and a payslip!! I was flabbergasted as I had confirmed exactly what I needed the Monday before.

I was really sold by their current powerful advertising by have walked away feeling grossly let down with believing in their advert and the time I have wasted in this exercis
