Virgin Mobile uses faulty credit check information

We attempted to take out a contract in Dec 12 from Virgin Mobile Canal Walk - the Classic 300 for the Samsung Galaxy SIII, yet we failed Virgin Mobiles credit check stating my husband was a 'high risk' and Virgin would not issue the contract.

My husband is a professional, a specialist doctor, and has never defaulted on any credit payment. On further investigation he requested reports from the 3 credit companies that provide Virgin's ratings. All 3 reports had either incorrect or well out of date information attached to them. Furthermore there was nothing on these reports to suggest that he is a credit risk. Several details such as employment history, our address, contact details and our bond details were all incorrect.

I would like to know how a customer who is a professional and completely sound from a credit point of view can be turned away from their business? How can a cell phone company that is still trying to grow in our market turn away low risk individuals based on faulty credit information? It is alarming that incorrect credit information is used to determine a person's suitability.
Furthermore Canal Walk staff assured us they would get back to us and have not done
