Unstable and basically useless internet connection

Hi,

My issue is that my 2Mbps line is not performing anywhere near how it should (was always fine) since last week Monday (06/05/2013).
I know that Telkom apparently repaired some of their infrastructure in the Stellenbosch area, but according to their 'maintenance tracking' website, the repairs/work was completed quickly.

So why do we still have such bad service delivery more than a week later? With [URL Removed] i get over 400ms ping to SAIX Cape Town (usually around 30ms or 40ms).

I have logged a complaint with the ADSL hotline on Monday (13/05/2013) to no avail.

I moved over from wireless internet to ADSL for the supposedly increased stability, but this deal is starting to look rotten to me...
